The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will conduct a Vessel Safety Check on the troop boat Whitecaps. After months of hard work by Scouts to repair and restore the boat, this inspection will give them the chance to see how their efforts measure up to official U.S. Coast Guard safety standards. Scouts will also learn about the essential equipment and requirements every vessel must meet to be ready for the water.
