Festivities kick off with the derby car races at 8 AM on San Francisco Street, followed immediately by the Day in the Park, running until 2 PM.
The park will be bustling with community groups, informational and commercial tables, arts & crafts vendors, live music, delicious food—including Lions tri-tip sandwiches—and plenty of activities for kids.
Our Troop will be there both as a recruiting opportunity and to engage with the community, while advocating for a free slip for our boat, Whitecaps, from the City of Brisbane.
