The troop is headed off for summer camp at Wente Scout Reservation, a well-loved summer camp offering a perfect mix of outdoor adventure, skill-building, and camaraderie. Scouts will stay on site, follow a structured daily schedule, and participate in programs led by experienced staff. We have confirmed our spot and dates, and we will be staying at the same campsite as last year.

What to Bring

• Health Form (printed copy must be brought to camp)
• Class A Uniform
• Scoutbook
• Water Bottle
• Small Daypack to carry things around camp
• Sleeping bags and Sleeping Pad (tents are provided)
• Firearms Permission Forms (if a scout wants to use any of the ranges)
• Packing list provided by the Council (ignore troop level paperwork and items listed for other camps)
• Cash (see below)

Trading Post

There is a trading post on site that sells a variety of snacks, drinks, candy, T-shirts, tools, and camp souvenirs. We recommend sending your Scout with some spending money if they’d like to purchase these items. The amount is up to you, but Scouts are responsible for managing their own money. The camp recommends $50–100 for the week.

Fee

• Cost $815 per Scout all inclusive
• $500 per Adult all inclusive
