9:00am – 3:00pm

The Bay Area Orienteering Club is hosting the 30th annual Scout-O at Briones Regional Park! This cross-country map and compass adventure challenges Scouts to put their navigation and outdoor skills to the test while exploring beautiful terrain. It’s a great opportunity to build teamwork, practice orienteering, and have some fun outdoors. A perfect activity for Scouts of all experience levels.

Itinerary

  1. Meet at the event location at 9am
  2. Teams will begin at staggered times. Exact start times will be determined upon arrival
  3. Each team will complete a 3.5 km (2.2 mi) course before finishing
  4. Teams are organized as shown in the shared list

Although this is a competition, our main focus is on practicing skills, teamwork, and enjoying the orienteering experience. Orienteering offers both a mental and physical challenge, and we hope everyone has a fun and rewarding time outdoors!
