Spend the day giving back to our local community while learning about the trails and natural environment of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Scouts will work alongside the Santa Cruz Mountains Trail Stewardship team to help build and maintain trails.
After the trail work wraps up around lunchtime, we’ll enjoy a special scientific tour led by a BLM scientist.
What to Bring
- Layers and long-sleeve clothing
- Sturdy, comfortable shoes or boots
- Water, snacks, sunscreen, and a backpack
- Change of clothes if you plan to hike after the work
- Reusable cup for the electrolyte mocktail bar

- Free coffee, pastries, snacks, beverages, and lunch for volunteers
