SF Pride Parade

Sunday, Jun 28, 2026

TBD

10:00am – 12:00pm

Come join us to march in the SF Pride Parade. Started by Pack 88, Scouts from across NorCal march as a group to celebrate and show our support for LGBTQ+ Scouts and Scouters.

You see many Troop leaders wearing the Inclusivity knot above the left breast pocket as well as the Rainbow epaulettes – both of these signify they are safe places for scouts as well as allies to further Inclusive Scouting in our community, where no scout or scouter is left out or made to feel unwelcome, because we believe scouting is for everyone, regardless of Race, religion, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic or education status!!!

What to Wear

Uniforms are strongly encouraged and for those that come in uniform you will be able to get a pair of epaulettes made by Jon and if you already have epaulettes and are lucky to get one, a 3D printed rainbow neckerchief woggle.

For family members and friends that join Class B T-shirts, other T-shirts, and Rainbow themed (family friendly) apparel are also appropriate. There are portaloos near the assembly area.

What to Bring

While many Troop families have marched in past years, please ensure you bring sunscreen, a hat, comfortable walking shoes, water and a snack. There is no storage so plan to carry what you bring (a trailer is fine), joy, cheer, and a willingness to support all scouts. (consider you will be marching from the embarcadero to past union square).
