Due to trail closures and weather-related conditions at Ebbetts Pass, the location for this backpacking trip has been changed to Henry W. Coe State Park.
This will be the opposite direction from the route we’ll be taking at Ebbetts Pass! We’ll backpack approximately 10 miles from Ebbetts Pass, camp overnight, and then hike the 10 miles back to the cars the following day.
This trip is one of the required preparation hikes for the July PCT backpacking trip.
Itinerary
The rough plan is to leave San Francisco on Friday afternoon or very early Saturday morning to reach the trailhead and begin hiking.
